Model No. was founded to rethink and elevate our experience in the spaces we design and inhabit. We design and make furnishings that harmonize with the space, lift the human experience, and eliminate our impact on the environment.
Our collaborators - architects and design professionals - see the problem: Building and the turnover of commercial interiors generate well-over a third of the world’s CO2 emissions and an endless stream of waste.
With these mission-driven partners, we create spaces we want without the waste. Circular at our core, Model No. achieves this through elevated design, regenerative and biodegradable materials, and 3D manufacturing.

We design and make furnishings that are timeless, enhance the built environment, and uplift the people who inhabit it. Working together, we stay loose and move fast to bridge our client collaborators and their projects to an end experience that is aspirational, sublime, and sustainable.
A Circular Approach
Regenerative, Recycled + Reused
Most commercial enterprises change interiors every 5 years. We neutralize this waste stream by using regenerative material that can be recycled and reused without loss of performance. Our materials also biodegrade rapidly under the right conditions. Combined with 3D printing, our approach to materials unleashes a circular system that limits or eliminates harm to our planet.
3D Printing + Digital Manufacturing
Made Sustainably On Demand
We use 3D printing and digital manufacturing to achieve our high design and sustainable manufacturing standards for our product. Not only does 3D printing enable exponential and cost-effective customization, it reduces production related waste by approximately 90% and cuts carbon emissions more than 50% compared to traditional furniture.
Because we produce to order, hold no inventory, and ship most projects domestically or locally, our logistics eliminate the waste and emissions of traditional furniture operations which produce, store, and ship overseas.
Our facility operates 100% on wind and solar energy. We use recycled material for all packaging. In the future, we hope to employ exclusively electric vehicles.
