Artfully designed for comfort and durability in the outdoors, the high-quality PLA bench seat is made from upcycled plant material that is 3D printed in our micro-factory. We build the frame from FSC® certified hardwood using mortise and tenon joinery that will endure the years. We hand-finish every piece with organic oils to complete its modern and refined look.

The Cynara Bench seasons exceptionally well with your attention and care. Wood that is left outdoors will naturally darken over time. Wooden legs will remain in excellent condition when not placed for extended periods on wet dirt or grass surfaces. The PLA is UV resistant and waterproof and will hold up to extended exposure to moisture.
We recommend covering your bench seasonally, for protection again cold weather and wind. Do not cover in high heat, as prolonged exposure to intense sun while covered may lead to some warping. During extreme weather the bench should be stored for optimal long-term protection. While uncovered, the bench can easily be maintained with regular cleanings. We recommend wiping down the PLA with a lint-free, soft cloth or soft bristle brush, and clean when needed with mild soaps, such as diluted dish soap or general non-abrasive cleaners. Avoid bleach, ammonia, and other harsh chemical solvents or abrasive cleaners which may damage the texture of the surface.
